If you were to go to the National Center for Health Statistics’ website, you would learn that every year, Americans are getting fatter.  This in turn, causes more and more Americans to look for the ultimate way to lose weight.  Everyone who is out to lose weight always wonders what are the best fat burning secrets.  Whether they are looking toward special diet programs or trying to find the most power-packed aerobics class, the goal is the same: figuring out how to eliminate excess fat from the body. 

Well, I’ve discovered a few fat burning secrets that will help you in your quest to lose weight and get in shape.  However, be warned that they do require some effort on your part.  Anyone who tells you that you can lose fat by taking a magic pill or eating special foods for a couple of days is out to scam you.

Secret #1: 
Make sure you continue to eat enough calories.
I know, you’re thinking, “I’m supposed to eat enough calories?”  Well, yes.  If you drastically reduce your caloric intake all at once, you will cause havoc with your metabolism rate.  Also, you need to have enough calories to support the exercise that you will be doing.

Secret #2:
Cardio can be fun.
Yes, cardio exercises can be fun.  You need to pick one that you can enjoy, be it cycling, running, or classes at a gym.  Also, you will need to make it a priority to exercise as often as you can, meaning at least three or four times a week.

Secret #3:
Ditch the liquid calories.
Do you realize how many extra calories you are consuming every time you reach for a soda or high sugar fruit juice?  Water would be the best alternative, as it also flushes out toxins and junk from your body.  However, if you’re not ready to give up your sodas yet, then switch to diet with zero calories.  With fruit juices, stay away from any that have “high fructose corn syrup” in the ingredients.  Think of this a code word for “lots of empty calories.”
